At Boston Spa Hockey Club we have an ethos of ‘Great Hockey, Great Fun, Great Value.’ But what does this really mean?
GREAT HOCKEY
We want all our players to play as much hockey and to the best standard that both they and the club feels appropriate. Our wish is to make play as accessible as possible for all members whilst having our teams compete at the highest sustainable level.
We wish to grow our team base to allow new players to join us and all players to attain their full potential. We offer separate adult and junior training to allow improvement in the correct environments for individual players.
Outside of the hockey season we will participate in other competitions to make hockey at our club a whole year experience as much as possible. We also have an annual summer inter club tournament and a hockey tour to Holland.
GREAT FUN
We want players to enjoy their hockey and a good team atmosphere both on and off the pitch is important. We believe socialising after matches should be attended as much as possible and create friendship and camaraderie.
We have various social events throughout the year to appeal to the mixed nature of our membership, with fun always being the goal.
GREAT VALUE
Whilst we do not price match to other clubs our aim is to offer the best value package membership and match fees in the area. We also wish to reward our players and included in our membership costs are home after match teas and adult training, both at zero fee. All members also receive up to 10% discount on drinks at our clubhouse bar at CALSA.
